Ice sparkle & twinkle…

February 21, 2015 · 1 Comment

An Ice Storm can be the super ice sparkle for your eyes.

It is one of nature’s most beautiful and wonderous  of winter storms;
with it’s glistening stems and branches all woven up with threads of ice.

Just have some good storm-boots on those feet!

It occurs to me now that I have never seen the ice-storm put upon canvas,
and have not heard that any painter has tried to do it.

I wonder why that is.
Is it that paint cannot counterfeit the intense blaze of a sun-flooded jewel?

Art Statement

When I take the time to look and to really see and to apply my "foolish" imagination, there are worlds within worlds within worlds to be discovered.

When I allow my eyes to be excited and fascinated and pleased at what they see, I begin a journey, inventing a path to the place I choose to go; and magic happens!
