A day of treasures from my Flying Friends

October 11, 2012 · 10 Comments

I pre-enrolled a few months ago in my very first e-course, called “Flying Lessons”. I then waited and waited until it finally started on August 20th. It is a 5 week course and I have just realized that the whole month of September just flew. I think it literally “whooshed by” …and this is due to the fact that I am having a lot of fun, learning how to FLY!
And in this course comes all kinds of tips and tricks in how to make our “Creative Biz Soar”, it is a gem of a course!

This e-course is given by the social worker Kelly Rae Roberts gone artist, a highly
creative and spiritual guru in so many ways. She is now one of my teachers!
And then all the amazing women (500+) that are enrolled in this class are now also
my teachers. We are all sharing & learning, and I consider this some serious flying!

“Angels can fly because they take themselves lightly”

To me the most important lesson from this course has been about learning how to participate openly in a global community of creative souls. Here all of us are learning to fly, to soar, to reach out, to share and realize the possibilities of connecting!

Many of us have Etsy Shops (a online marketplace for artists to sell their work) and through the famous “Treasury Feature of Etsy” we have realized we can share and appreciate each others work. Also we can spread the word of this work through the world of blogs which most of us have. This ties into the dynamic phenomena of Social Networking now taking place online, which is also a tremendous marketing arena.

Here are a couple of beautiful “Etsy Treasuries” curated by fellow colleagues from the e-course.
My piece “Inner Gem” is featured in both treasuries, and on the same day! Click MY ETSY to visit my shop!

Oh! I got so side-tracked by looking at your lovely work, that I forgot to mention that you are sooo very welcome to be included in my Etsy treasury! It was a pleasure, and I hope to include more of your work in the future.

Art Statement

When I take the time to look and to really see and to apply my "foolish" imagination, there are worlds within worlds within worlds to be discovered.

When I allow my eyes to be excited and fascinated and pleased at what they see, I begin a journey, inventing a path to the place I choose to go; and magic happens!
