Empty coffee cans can be very functional after the fact. Use them to mix paint, store items. I keep my varnishing brushes suspended in solvent with the lid holding the brush. Here you can see some of my supplies and tools.
Many of my paintings were painted on the floor since they were of a very large format and I could move and visualize better.

original painting – private collection – Caracas, Venezuela • (Paint, paint!) “Pinta, pinta!”

If you hear a voice within you say ‘you cannot paint,’ then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.

Great idea and great illustration. You probably weren’t looking for other ideas, but for water and paint thinners I use glass jars that use to have pickles, or jelly in them.

Oh, wow, look at all the magnificent colors! Looks like jewels on the floor, and that’s what your art is — a collection of beautiful jewels. 🙂

Glorious colour and design. I know we’re all supposed to have our own style, but I do wish I’d done this!

What beautiful work! I love the colors and texture, it’s almost like a batik background. Very original and wholly pleasing to the eye, bravo. Ah…and thanks too for the can tips, hadn’t thought of that.

That is beautiful! I love the concept of accidental art and the surprise of beauty. Perhaps a series is in the works?
