    I find it amazing how nature comes back to life even when it looks as though it’s completely brown and dead. Lovely images! :)x

    That is a red maple, not a sugar maple. The seeds are visibly different between the two species and unlike what we can see of the leaves in the picture sugar maples are not serrated.
