Love is a canvas furnished by nature and embroidered by imagination.  ~Voltaire

I have termed this TheloCactus:

“The L♥ve Cactus”
6″ x 6″ • pencil, ink pencil, black walnut ink on clay-board • Lisa Rivas © 2009 •

Love is like dew that falls on both nettles and lilies. Swedish Proverb

The thelocactus is a small and short globular cactus with a beautiful spination and showy flowers.
It originates from the arid lands of Central, and North Mexico.
