Xmas Cactus

December 15, 2008 · 9 Comments

The Xmas Cactus blooms each winter with is message of faith, hope and beauty.

Silently one by one, in the infinite meadows of heaven,
Blossomed the lovely stars, the forget-me-nots of the angels
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Cactus-Monday

The Xmas Cactus is not a Christmas tree, but I would say they can both hold wonder.

    Hi Lisa,
    I uploaded my cactus monday.
Come here, went off to take bath!
Thinking that after bathing I should be able to have fresh idea on more creative comments.
This piece with a chair means we need to sit back and have a good break not just for Christmas Celebration but also to let the spiritual goodness refresh us counting down to 2009 new year.
New year new resolution-Yeah greener pasture with this bouquet of flower…such beautiful power of flowers blossom!!!
Somemore accompanied by magical stars in a magical way….carpet & wall paper alike!
    So positive & uplifting!
Certainly miracles and blessings are abundant here for us to testfy, collect & count….
The background green looks like some creative green cactus in the “8” sign, indicating good luck!
So many of them represent million good luck!!!
You are most welcome Lisa ^-^ Love your FB as well!
I am behind schedule, so just present a cactus photo taken from my student’s house! Hope you like it!
About the little cat in action on my blog…she is my student’s new cat. This i month old kitten was imported and cost RM2000.
So expensive!!!!This family has five cats. Will post more of their photos in the future…
    Bye!

I love the cactus, but I knew I would!! I see a series of them for lots of different holidays. You know, something to work on in all your spare time! 🙂

Art Statement

When I take the time to look and to really see and to apply my "foolish" imagination, there are worlds within worlds within worlds to be discovered.

When I allow my eyes to be excited and fascinated and pleased at what they see, I begin a journey, inventing a path to the place I choose to go; and magic happens!
