2 Legged Table

December 2, 2008 · 7 Comments

2 legs is what I see.

2 legs that are very blue.

2 legs that hid behind the …

2 legs that support this tabletop.

2 legs that stand straight up and upon.

2 legs that we think do exist but are not seen.

2 legs that are needed to walk in order to get here.

2 legs placed the basket of “ripe red fruit“ upon this table.

Unusual and kind of moody looking. I like it a lot. You do such beautiful work, Lisa.

I am amazed by your word’s play of the number “2” here.
I would love to stay in here because the environment in this lovely adobe is so inviting and cozy.
Well, it’s fit for all artists like us, loving a life like this that packed of good emotion. And this emotion does allow us to accentuate to a greater height!!!
Which according to this great good quote:
I do not literally paint that table, but the emotion it produces upon me.
    Henri Matisse

Art Statement

When I take the time to look and to really see and to apply my "foolish" imagination, there are worlds within worlds within worlds to be discovered.

When I allow my eyes to be excited and fascinated and pleased at what they see, I begin a journey, inventing a path to the place I choose to go; and magic happens!
