A painter paints pictures on canvas. But musicians paint their pictures on silence. ~ Leopold Stokowski
Okay, Lisa, this has me blown away! This is fabulous in every which way; color, composition, mood, style, technique and…did I say Wow yet? WOW! 🙂
I can almost hear the music in this(for real!) That quote is interesting because it’s true in another way too. You see I can’t paint very easily if there’s music playing, particularly figurative work because it distracts me.
I used to be an abstract painter and would put flamenco music on while I was painting which resulted in me ‘painting the music’! 🙂
I am especially liking the composition of this one…and I love the quote about silence too!
Love you color and composition! Musical Feast!
great design and colors!
You’re still the master of combining words and images 😉
What a glorious image!
awesome job lisa 🙂 i really like it
Absolute perfection! I can hear it, too. I really can! Real jazzy. According to Close Encounters of the Third Kind, music truly is the universal language. Beep beep bop de booop.
