Flit, flutter or fly?

February 7, 2008 · 1 Comment

Most flowers and plants have “the desire” to FLY, believe me! Remember the purple-red Oxalis?

Watch their petals and leaves, they act like small wings fluttering to the breezes and rising to the sun.
Their seeds manage to flit from here to there. Some even manage to glide on a little wisp of air.

They are born to the light and air, bearing the hope to spirit themselves into LIFE!

Yes yes yes, we, us, them, and everything are always flying, moving, going, reaching, growing to get somewhere, somewhen, somehow. The best example of this beautiful movement, and it must be beautiful, are the flowers our eternal reminder of grace.

Art Statement

When I take the time to look and to really see and to apply my "foolish" imagination, there are worlds within worlds within worlds to be discovered.

When I allow my eyes to be excited and fascinated and pleased at what they see, I begin a journey, inventing a path to the place I choose to go; and magic happens!
