…like limbs or arms, they reach and embrace,
rising from the main axis or central trunk.
Stems that extend “opposite” from
or enter into a main body or source,
like many streams flowing.
They are part of a complex body as
members are related in a family.
Ramifying further into leaves,
buds, blossoms and fruits.
