Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads which sew people together through the years. Simone Signoret
This is a glorious image; I love the colour and the mood of it. We thought along the same lines. I just wish I’d included your quotations! Go see: https://conniemartin.wordpress.com/illus-fri/

Lisa, this is incredible – I just got so lost in the amazing details: the little sewing basket with needles and threads, and the clothes and buttons and the tiny sewing-picture with a scene that looks like it’s flown from a fairy-tale. And I love the quotes so much. Whenever I come here feeling a little lost, I am so much filled with hope and a new burst of energy – thank you so much for sharing your beautiful, wonderful work:-)
wow. it is beautiful. It reminds me of fragile things.
Thanks Mark for you comment!
You got pretty close to what’s going on here

Lovely colors and textures! IF Routine is so beautiful it can only be a good thing! (Or not?)
This is beautiful. I love the curvilinear lines. And the sentiment that marriage is woven together.
