Daff Odile…

March 13, 2008 · Leave a Comment

My friend Susan calls one morning to tell me about seeing some buttercups across town. I point out that over this way I hadn’t seen any yet, she agrees.
H’m… I had been painting this little yellow bird right about then.
Anyhow a few days later upon taking a break outside, I spot O’Miss Daff Odile under the dogwood, a bright sunny face just like the Wilton Warbler getting painted inside.

Well, once Daff got together with Warb it has been "daffy down dilly" around here!

A Snow Cup,

March 11, 2008 · Leave a Comment

As the snow fell, it piled up, and created all kinds of small mounds.
It seemed like -NATURE- had decided to serve up an “ICE CREAM SOCIAL“…

…specially where the “red tips” were! (the bulbs and pansies are still fine)

Soul,
 sombra, mi SOL

Share a song!
Say so long to Solace.
Show your soul to the sun.
Silence to the shadows.
Some sounds are so soft
and some so very strong.
Salute to those that sing
for they are the heroes!

Art Statement

When I take the time to look and to really see and to apply my "foolish" imagination, there are worlds within worlds within worlds to be discovered.

When I allow my eyes to be excited and fascinated and pleased at what they see, I begin a journey, inventing a path to the place I choose to go; and magic happens!
