Creating a new theory is not like
destroying an old barn and erecting
a skyscraper in its place.
It is rather like climbing a mountain,
gaining new and wider views,
discovering unexpected connections
between our starting points
and its rich environment.
But the point from which we started out
still exists and can be seen,
although it appears smaller
and forms a tiny part of our broad view
gained by the mastery of the obstacles
on our adventurous way up.

Hi Lisa…
I loveeeeeeee this piece…Monkeys are one of my favorite things….the details are amazing…
Have a great weekend!!!
very nice
Wow.
how do you get these printed onto such large canvas?
Very interesting. That monkey looks like he is climing into the stars.
OK this is amazing…like I just stepped into the picture!
Jessica,
I had these printed with a large format printer, in this case an Epson Stylus ® PRO , up to 64″ wide!
It will take a bit more than an hour to print specially very large formats, but the colors are amazing!
The files do have to be excellent since everything shows and to make it worthwhile:-)
I then stretch them myself (with a lot of care) on heavy duty stretchers, then coated with a UV varnish.
The Epson website has info on these printers:

My dream or wish-list item is to have one of these printers!
That einstein was a smart monkey!
You never cease to amaze with your wonderful talent! I come here and wowed away!
Happy IF
