If you leave the smallest corner of your head vacant for a moment,
other people's opinions will rush in from all quarters.
George Bernard Shaw
And I rush to see your quotations for the week! Again, delighted by your patterns and colour; venetian blinds are somehow one of my favourite images. I’m also intrigued by what I see as the symbolism of it.
Nice illustration. Great colors. Reminds me of paintings on silk. Wonderful!
The venetian blinds hung in disarray and with a hangman’s noose is about chaos, abandonment and insanity.
No body home upstairs – mental vacancy caused by excesses and extremes.
wow…this is such a wonderful piece….
Girly you are something else!!! I love the blinds and the radio on the table. This is how my grandmothers table use to look when she was in a hurry to vacate the place. Great work!
beautifully done…the colors are so rich…..I love the way the blinds are captured.
Amazing design and color! Wow…it makes vacant look like a place to visit!

Hmmm. you know some strive for vacant mind. 🙂
very fun – like a little altar isn’t; and altar to the internet gods!
this is marvellous.
I too, love coming here for the combination of the beautiful art and the well chosen quotes. One of my favorite places to visit! Venetian blinds conjur up many memories for me, some not so nice. Your piece doesn’t frighten me in that way though. To me it looks like the blinds are being moved by a gentle breeze.
Another winner, I love the different patterns, excellent!
This is so beautiful and stunning – and I love the piggy bank!! Wonderful, thoughtful and truly inspirational work:-) I love it!!
Your art work is very inspirational.

So many great details here and I especially love the blinds and the scarf.

Very pretty color choices. The way you manipulate color reminds me of Matisse! 😀
