Abejas de Miel pendant by Lisa Rivas

So I waited up til Monday, July 7th. at 12:00 AM,

to give every one a chance.

And the lucky winner for the “Abejas de Miel”
-The Honey Bees- pendant is: Valaine
visit her wonderful blog: www.silentdreamer.net/blog
for it is definitely a winning proposition!

There will be more “give-a-ways” coming up again.
Winning is not everything, but the effort to win is. Zig Ziglar

Valaine is the winner!

Kindness in ourselves is the honey that blunts the sting of unkindness in another.
Walter Savage Landor, 1775 – 1864

A “Spoonful of Honey” a day keeps free radicals at bay.

More about honey:
Many have found “local raw honey” helpful for its positive effects against allergies and hay fever.
One or two teaspoons last thing at night can help with insomnia.
Also apply freely over burns. It cools, removes pain and aids fast healing without scarring.
Apart from being a salve and an antibiotic, bacteria simply cannot survive in honey.

Valaine is very lucky indeed….it is a gorgeous pendant !! And you know, since I think I have come down with my sons’ colds/coughs (even my one boy had pneumonia) …..I think I’ll go have that spoonful of honey.

    Lisa,
I found you from checking out Nancy Lefko’s blog awards (I am the one who sent it to her) I do a weekly “Bee Spotting” post on great “Bee” art and of course flipped out when I saw this. So much so I just went to etsy and bought your print of it! Soooooo jealous of Valaine who won this great prize and sbe was another blogger I gave this award to. Such a neato small world. So I figured this print was meant to be found by me eventually. Your art is bee-utiful!

Art Statement

When I take the time to look and to really see and to apply my "foolish" imagination, there are worlds within worlds within worlds to be discovered.

When I allow my eyes to be excited and fascinated and pleased at what they see, I begin a journey, inventing a path to the place I choose to go; and magic happens!
