With the heart…

February 12, 2008 · 3 Comments

Sprinkled
among the many folds of the “Puzzle Purse” are words and phrases. Once they are read they uncover an endearing message or maybe a secret. It becomes a puzzle to resolve and to refold.

It is also “A Valentine” you can make and share!

The best and most beautiful things in the world
cannot be seen or even touched.
They must be felt with the heart.

Flit, flutter or fly?

February 7, 2008 · 1 Comment

Most flowers and plants have “the desire” to FLY, believe me! Remember the purple-red Oxalis?

Watch their petals and leaves, they act like small wings fluttering to the breezes and rising to the sun.
Their seeds manage to flit from here to there. Some even manage to glide on a little wisp of air.

They are born to the light and air, bearing the hope to spirit themselves into LIFE!

All Ovals II

February 4, 2008 · 1 Comment

“The Ovals” had become friendly upon their first visit at the Oval Throne.
No one had sat on anyone for that would not have been cool, Sonny!
As a matter of fact the “smooth eggs” had doubled in quantity and the “hairy coconut” was not too comfortable.

His discomfort was that they were all in this “big oval” and all very close together!
Was this just another kind of visit? Or was something going on he wasn’t aware of?

Welcome to Flying Colors!

Bienvenidos… los colores vuelan!

And colors will fly, shift and escape…

Magic Sparkler

I am a Painter / Graphic Artist very much interested in noticing the elusive…

Nature and the small mundane stuff I find extremely fascinating.

Patterns are one of my obsessions… Are patterns obsessive by nature ?

Making and creating is what makes me feel complete… so posting this blog is an act of joy!

May you return and discover…

Art Statement

When I take the time to look and to really see and to apply my "foolish" imagination, there are worlds within worlds within worlds to be discovered.

When I allow my eyes to be excited and fascinated and pleased at what they see, I begin a journey, inventing a path to the place I choose to go; and magic happens!
