I was so excited about this until I went to that extreme craft sight and only saw garbage! What a disappointment!

The idea seems like a brilliant one, but I, too, am a bit doubtful after browsing the author’s blog… But I guess the people at Rockport Publishers/Quarry Books will keep an eye on him to exclude the visual vulgarisms =D
We’ll see! I’m always positive towards creative reuse, so I hope that lots of gifted people submit their work.
Have a great weekend Lisa. Hope you got my answer to your email?

What a great idea and book! I would love to enter something. I’ve got tons of stuff that I’ve reused for something else. This is great!

Thanks for your sharing flying colors, indeed it’s a remarkably interesting project for art maker, crafter, painter and etc….
Just a small thought can turn a waste piece into a brilliant piece of artwork.
I hope that more people will find time to participate, it’s another mission for us to inform the public through a creative channel where the old junk can be made beautiful like an ugly caterpillar transforming into a stunning butterfly.
We all better hurry…..get some good stuffs just for “the fun makeover & recycle mission”

Art Statement

When I take the time to look and to really see and to apply my "foolish" imagination, there are worlds within worlds within worlds to be discovered.

When I allow my eyes to be excited and fascinated and pleased at what they see, I begin a journey, inventing a path to the place I choose to go; and magic happens!
