A leap to fly…

May 13, 2008 · 2 Comments

…and so I chased after this little robin all over the front yard.
Then over to the neighbors yard…
…saw a dog! swiftly back to my place,
up the steps,
over to the ledge… and then it took a leap to fly!

Outofthenest

Today this little robin flies around and will hop right on up to me…

The return of the Robin is one sure sign of spring here in the upper midwest. Interesting how interelated Robins are to the earthworm. They bounce joyfully along a lawn and stop, stark upright and still, sensing tiny virations on the ground to locate their favorite meal. Wonderful depiction! Thanks Lisa.

I can see these little robins have given you a lot of inspiration. You’ve produced beautiful drawings of them, bravo.

Art Statement

When I take the time to look and to really see and to apply my "foolish" imagination, there are worlds within worlds within worlds to be discovered.

When I allow my eyes to be excited and fascinated and pleased at what they see, I begin a journey, inventing a path to the place I choose to go; and magic happens!
