Pansies

The "pansy" possesses one of the widest "violaceous" color ranges in nature.
These are photos of some of the pansies in my garden this year.

    hi, Lisa!
pansies are one of my favorites!
they always remind me of my mother and grandmother, as they both had them in their gardens.
I always put a few in my “wash tub” garden, in memory of them.
    thanks,
    Patty

Pansies are wonderful brightly colored enthusiastic bloomers, even in cold northern climates. The largest most vibrant Pansies I’ve seen were in Alaska. One of Mother Nature’s simple yet elegant blessings to us all. We simply need to be aware and notice. I’m also on the watch for native Trilliums here in the Chicago area. They pop up on forest floors every April.
Enjoy nature while we have it,
    John

Art Statement

When I take the time to look and to really see and to apply my "foolish" imagination, there are worlds within worlds within worlds to be discovered.

When I allow my eyes to be excited and fascinated and pleased at what they see, I begin a journey, inventing a path to the place I choose to go; and magic happens!
