Romantic Cabbage

February 1, 2008 · 3 Comments

I found this “exotic flower” at the grocery store, “a cabbage” with a long stem.

Once arranged in a vase with water and some palm leaves it held up very well, for about 10 days.

There was no Cabbage Soup or Cold Slaw for this one.
It had been destined for a romantic experience with “baby breath”!

What elegance, what artistic chatter and wow! Where did this idea come from?
None other than a creative person, who has a lot on her hands; No just kidding, it is actually a beautiful idea.
Now we just need someone with equal talent to appreciate this.

I have ornamental kale growing in my front flower bed, and it is the brightest color in my yard during these gray winter days.

Art Statement

When I take the time to look and to really see and to apply my "foolish" imagination, there are worlds within worlds within worlds to be discovered.

When I allow my eyes to be excited and fascinated and pleased at what they see, I begin a journey, inventing a path to the place I choose to go; and magic happens!
