So I waited and watched and looked and waited some more, and I am still watching IT! (the leek)

Rise and Shine! As my niece would say…
Today is Valentines… Wishing you all a wonderful day with your love ones!
And I have made you a “Heart Tart” to enjoy. Also easy to bake.
Following recipe: Rhubarb / Berry Tart
When I first saw this stalk at the produce store I thought whoa! “Red Celery“, but… not!
It is called Rhubarb, a plant with long red stalks and large green heart shaped leaves.
But only the stalks of rhubarb are edible; the leaves, which contain oxalic acid, are toxic.
The flavor of the rhubarb is sour, acidic; the redder the stalk, the sweeter it is.
When sweetened and cooked it is a traditional favorite for pies, pastries and making preserves.
This tart plant is also called the “Pie Plant”
A daily log… dial again… day by day…
It can be an idealogue…
A what? An idea?
What idea?
Like there is this small "Flying Color" in today’s new "Botánica"!
…now tag along "little love one" in red!

Sprinkled
among the many folds of the “Puzzle Purse” are words and phrases. Once they are read they uncover an endearing message or maybe a secret. It becomes a puzzle to resolve and to refold.
It is also “A Valentine” you can make and share!

cannot be seen or even touched.
They must be felt with the heart.
