Ink Play!

October 25, 2015 · 1 Comment

Playing with ink might be messy, but it could lead to new arenas.
Maybe, use something other than a pen, like an ink dropper!

A Brie-Box: The new canvas!

September 22, 2015 · 5 Comments

This little Brie-box is perfect for a lot of reasons!
Little Brie-Box
Just soak in water for a few minutes and all the labels fall off + it disassembles! Let dry and now to paint.

Here are a few pieces I have done so far.
They will be up for sale in the “new store” …coming soon!

A Dream of Mother…

June 29, 2015 · Leave a Comment

A few years ago I had an astonishing dream of my deceased mother.
She was this amazing TORTOISE in this very exotic room.

Mom leads me to The Tortoise : : Guidance — Lisa Rivas

Since then I started finding small Turtles and Tortoises here and there.
I would bring them to her as offerings asking: “What does this mean? — tell me.”

Through the years I always wondered about that dream.
This is what I have found so far:

“Guidance” is the special gift of the TORTOISE.

The Tortoise carries “the map of our treasure” within the markings of it’s shell.
It requires deep patience and inner peace to be able to decipher it’s magical code,
this is achieved only through meditation.

Your own treasure will then be revealed.

Art Statement

When I take the time to look and to really see and to apply my "foolish" imagination, there are worlds within worlds within worlds to be discovered.

When I allow my eyes to be excited and fascinated and pleased at what they see, I begin a journey, inventing a path to the place I choose to go; and magic happens!
