Early Splashes!

September 4, 2008 · 1 Comment

This is a piece I did some time ago, a few decades…
who knows what I was thinking then! "Olives", I still like them today 🙂

The dove and the olive first appeared together in the
biblical story of the Noah and the Ark.
But how did this symbolize
"peace"?

"Peace" must have a deeper meaning that includes profound emotions such as
forgiveness, gratitude, hope and love.
Many years of peace are necessary to grow olive trees,
they take several years to produce their first fruit and can live for 1,500 years.

Around & around…

You live on the surface of the water,
if surprised you swim in circles around and around…

You can see with those strange divided eyes,
above and below! Whirling around and around…

You can dive  deep down and stay for a long time,
due to all your bubbles around and around…

You swim in large groups and never do you
bump into each other! Whirling around and around…

This is why you are called a Whirligig,
around and around and around again!

Yellow Peace!

August 28, 2008 · 8 Comments

…is the energy that blesses our mind with its “sunny” disposition
and keeps our thoughts positive!

It is the energy that is curious and wants to learn about everything.
Without this energy, life would be boring and feel unchallenged…

Yellow Energy gives us the ability to be open and spontaneous.

Yellow “CE” glasses will help improve focus and concentration. Ideal for driving and sports!
A
picture painted in yellow radiates spiritual warmth; yellow possesses a
spreading movement outwards from the center (eccentric), the surface
seems to approach us.

Marriage must constantly fight against a monster which devours everything: “ROUTINE“

Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads which sew people together through the years. Simone Signoret

Art Statement

When I take the time to look and to really see and to apply my "foolish" imagination, there are worlds within worlds within worlds to be discovered.

When I allow my eyes to be excited and fascinated and pleased at what they see, I begin a journey, inventing a path to the place I choose to go; and magic happens!
