Dormancy…

April 10, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Golden slumbers kiss your eyes,
Smiles awake you when you rise.
On the sounds of falling rain.
Sleep beautiful seed, sleep.

Care is heavy, therefore sleep you;
You are care, and care must keep you.
For you will soon be rising.
Sleep wonderful seed, sleep.
A variation on the lullaby "Golden Slumbers" written by the poet and dramatist, Thomas Dekker

Dormir = to sleep : dormant = lying asleep; latent; inactive

Pansies

The "pansy" possesses one of the widest "violaceous" color ranges in nature.
These are photos of some of the pansies in my garden this year.

Art Statement

When I take the time to look and to really see and to apply my "foolish" imagination, there are worlds within worlds within worlds to be discovered.

When I allow my eyes to be excited and fascinated and pleased at what they see, I begin a journey, inventing a path to the place I choose to go; and magic happens!
